Architectural Design

Since its founding in 1983.  Architecural Design has developed into one of the busiest Practices in the area with a current 'live' portfolio of around 100 projects. The majority of these are within a thirty-mile radius of Macclesfield and include new and conversion/restoration projects in the Peak Park, Cheshire, Staffordshire and around the South Manchester Conurbation.

Although Architectural Design are known more for their domestic portfolio, the company does have a significant record in other sectors with its in-house resource of designers and technicians who have a great deal of experience in a wide range of project types including residential, sheltered housing, leisure, industrial and commercial. In recent months Architectural Design have gained Planning Permission for a number of exciting and varied schemes, from the conversion of listed buildings to form 10 houses and new build ‘one-off' houses for private clients. These have included a 700sq m. five bedroom house in Bowden, a stone built 400 sq m. five bedroom farmhouse in the Peak Park, together with a 600 sq m listed farmhouse at Congleton. The practice is also involved at present with a number of large house extensions across the new Unitary Authority of Cheshire East and Town Centre project within the same Authority.

Architectural Design are currently working with a number of Developers within both Cheshire East and Cheshire West on Sheltered Housing, Office, Housing and Conversion projects.
