We believe that wildengland.com will have a great appeal to children and adults alike. Designed to be both pleasing and informative, it is a place people can turn to in order to find out more about our native wildlife in all its variety.
The website will ultimately cover 365 different animals; each will be divided into five Age Categories corresponding to School Years 2-6 (ages 6 – 11), with each category written in a style and grammar appropriate to the age group and compatible to the National Curriculum.
For every animal there will also be an Introduction and Adult Friendly Factfile. Clearly a huge undertaking like this requires financial support. Through CATCH Wild World we are developing a database of more than one hundred towns and districts and we will be offering compatible businesses the opportunity to help us in this exciting venture by buying space for their company information on wildengland.com.
This information will be placed in one of the age categories. We will also aim to draw that group of businesses together, forming mutually beneficial links within the local small business community as well as links between the business communities of different towns.
