Garden Song Birds bring a lot of pleasure to many people who have gardens and not just because they can sing beautiful songs, but also because of their own individual personalities. The friendly Robin can be seen following a gardener around in the hope of finding any dug-up worms and the cheeky House Sparrow will fly on a garden table (even if somebody is sitting there) to get to any tasty titbits.
A garden wouldn’t be the same without birds. What pleasure it brings to see a Blue Tit taking seeds from a bird feeder or seeing it hovering under leaves looking for insects. What would a garden be like without the sounds of birds like the Greenfich that makes sweet trill-like songs between March or July or the Wren that can be heard throughout the year singing long melodious tunes.
Some Garden Song Birds frequent gardens more than others like the Robin, House Sparrow, Blackbird and the Wren, while others visit gardens more in winter when food is scarce in the hope to find seeds and nuts.
